On Wednesday, June 11, the first in a series of DQC web-based seminars on data and data quality was held. In this session, the following items took place:

Discussed the types of key policy questions that can only be answered with longitudinal data.
Learned why it is important to connect P-12 to higher education data and back again to ensure college and career readiness.
Heard about ways to improve the USE of longitudinal data in order to improve student achievement. (It’s not enough to just collect the data.)
Found out how these systems can be built and utilized all while protecting student privacy.
