2007 Farm Bill
Congress reauthorizes all agricultural and rural policy once every five years in a single piece of legislation known as the "Farm Bill." The 2007 Farm Bill could provide new opportunities and many challenges due to budget constraints and pressure to reduce farm subsidies. Congress' efforts will have major implications for state policy makers as they adopt state agricultural policy.
