Housing

The deadline for making hotel reservations through the NCSL Housing Bureau was June 20, 2008.  You may contact the hotel directly to ask about avalaibility, but the NCSL rate is no longer guaranteed.

Guarantees
All attendees will be required to guarantee their room ($190) by completing the credit card information section on the housing form. Reservations will not be made or held unless a guarantee is provided.
Please note: a check may be used as payment at the hotel, but a credit card must be used to guarantee your reservation. 

Credit Card:  The credit card number is provided as a guarantee only.  The NCSL Housing Bureau will not charge the credit card unless the reservation is cancelled and a cancellation fee applies. Please carefully read the cancellation policies. After July 1, some hotels may charge your card for one night's room and tax.

Confirmations
The NCSL Housing Bureau will send you a confirmation by email or fax.  Please review all information for accuracy.  If you do not receive a confirmation or have questions, please call toll free 866-212-2297 or email ncsl@experient-inc.com

Changes/Cancellations
All changes and cancellations must be made directly with the hotel. 

Cancelled reservations will be assessed a processing fee as follows:

• Beginning March 15, cancelled reservations will be assessed a $50 processing fee
• After April 15, 2008, cancellations are subject to a $95 processing fee
• After May 15, 2008, cancellations are subject to a $125 processing fee 
• After June 15, 2008, cancellations will forfeit the $190 guarantee or will be charged one night's room and tax, whichever is greater
• Beginning July 15, 2008, please contact your hotel directly 

No Shows:  If you do not arrive at the hotel on the date indicated you will be considered a "no-show" and the hotel may cancel your room reservation entirely.
